Date: July 14, 2014
Location: Charlotte, NC

Vince Coakley, congressional candidate for North Carolina District 12, today challenged Rep. Alma Adams to a series of debates across District 12. Coakley is running on a platform to restore personal freedom, liberty, and opportunity for all Americans.

The people of District 12 deserve to hear from myself and Rep. Adams on where we stand on every issue important to them, their families, and their communities. This is why I am extending an invitation to Rep. Adams to join me and commit to one public debate in each county in District 12.

"Nothing is more honest, more open, and more democratic than a public forum where we can share with the voters of District 12 our vision and priorities to represent them in Congress.

"I hope that Rep. Adams will publicly accept my invitation to debate so we can get started soon with having an honest and open public discussion with the voters of District 12," said Coakley.

Vince Coakley is a former broadcast television journalist, anchor, and radio host in Charlotte, NC. His greatest passion is God's glory and working in partnership with other faith leaders to help believers lead healthy lives in the Body of Christ.
